The enchantment of the night
Hasn’t left me yet
My arms are still around you
A feeling I can’t forget

I open my eyes yet the dream still lingers
The dream of your lips held in my breath
Sometimes without you
I grow restless
When you’re not in view
I change sides and the dream alters
But it’s always of you
My love never falters

When I think of you
Each moment only serves to torture me more
I miss you too much
To do without you anymore
Even being submerged in cool water
Doesn’t sooth the ache in my heart’s core
