Angel of death
Carry me away
Upon your black wings
Take me with you
Give me the comfort
That sweet death brings

This life has lost its charm
Lost all meaning for me
There’s nothing left here for me
I want to die, don’t you see?

The light now burns me
As his betrayal it shows
The light doesn’t want me
And the darkness beckons
So take me away
To where no angel goes

These thoughts fill my mind
As I watch my blood flow
As my last breath escapes
With the wind it blows

So, angel of mercy
In eternal slumber
Give me peace
Kill me softly
To free my soul
