I’ve strayed from home
Wandering and lost
There’s a void in my chest
And my heart is covered in frost

Where are you my sweet?
Why have you poisoned me so?
I’ve already admitted defeat
So why did you go?

As the sun rises in the sky
It sets in my heart as I wake
In the morning as it sinks into me
The poisoned fangs of doubt
Like I’ve been bitten by snake

What kind of fire is this?
That burns in my heart
It torments me daily
That painful spark
Perhaps it’s a dream
A dream of you
Burning in my chest

My heart bears the punishment
For I crime I didn’t do
I’m in love with poison
But dear poison I’m addicted to you
