When I saw you
When I fell in love with you
It was plain to see
That you chased away
All the sanity in me

I love the way you look
It’s like you’ve cast a spell
To enchant me so effectively
That I’ve lost my heart
And with you it dwells

I wander the streets lost
With a gleam in my eyes
Like I’m asleep all day
Dreaming of you, my dear
It’s my thoughts you sway

The atmosphere dazzles
Whenever you’re around
I see you everywhere
In the faces of strangers
Yet you’re nowhere to be found

But when I thought of you
When I wished for you
It was plain to see
That you chased away
