You And Me

Whether you say it or not
Your eyes betray you
I know you love me
Strong and true

It's the way you look at me
With that look in your eyes
With that glimmer of hope
Soaring above the skies
Eyes that tell a story
The tale of our love
Eyes that breathe passion
Passion undreamed of

You're the bright light
In the darkness of my life
You're my guiding star
On my blackest of nights
You're my companion
On this journey of love
You're my caretaker
And I'm your little dove

Your name is the only word
That escapes my parched lips
I chant it like a prayer
Read out from holy scripts
And my heart calls out to you
As I thirst for your touch
You must have realised by now
That I love you so much

Wherever my eyes roam
It sees only your face
And your the king of my dreams
That takes me away somewhere
To a fantastical place

So whether you say it or not
It doesn't affect a thing
You know I love you too
And that you're my everything
